Day 40 ~ May 30

It’s after midnight here in Paris and we’ve exhausted the day... Experience has allowed my pen and lens to grow sharper so I could truly see the city, her people, the sights, smells and sounds, and comprehend the impact on me. Here, food is art. Art is in small details. Details are found when you slow down to smell the flowers. Flowers make people happy. People add more to life than anything you can buy... {Bonjour40, the book, will have the full entry}

I feel like I'm leaving Paris as well, and I'm very sad about it. Thank you for sharing your trip with me. It was such a lovely experience.

Arrived home safe and sound with fond memories, stuffed bags, and certainly today a bit of jet lag. Many, many thanks to all of you who took the time to follow along each day, and especially to all who commented. Sharing this experience made me open my eyes and ears so much more, and certainly your posts helped me to keep writing. I'll be in touch...

Thank you Karen for sharing your trip and Paris. Vancouver was a delight but there is nothing like Paris. BTW my new thriller has my characters in Paris even as I write, car chase and escape on bikes tomorrow - your idea!

Gregory, A bike chase through Paris could be so thrilling! Between the traffic, the pedestrians, the bridges, the small one-way streets, and the big bustling boulevards with taxes, buses zooming by monuments... I want to read that section when you're ready! Thank you for following along - as a fellow writing out there honing the craft – I appreciate that you took the time to read. Stay in touch.

Thanks Karen,
I'm working on it, but it will be tough transition. If you haven't, please check my blog, writing4death.blogspot.com, I spill some of the beans, but try to keep my readers anticipating where the story is going.
Again thanks for allowing me to visit Paris with a less expensive ticket.
