Paris for the Holidays

While I'd love to say I'm heading to Paris for the holidays, alas I am not. Many of you who read this original blog have written, or even stopped me in the street, to tell me how much you loved coming along with me to Paris. In case I haven't seen you, the blog is now a book - with twice the content of my original blog. And that book, Bonjour 40, is on sale for the holidays.

Skip over to my new author website, and there you will find the book. You'll also find a new blog from me. Every Friday I add a tidbit about writing, design or photography on my blog, Compositions. The entries are even shorter than my Bonjour40 posts at only 250 words max. Hopefully you'll find them just as inspiring, funny and engaging.

I thank you so much for following the original Bonjour40 blog. Paris simply would not have been the same without you. See you on my author site and happy holidays. Joyeux Noël.

The blog becomes a book!

For all my followers of the original blog, you have inspired me to keep writing. I'm happy to announce there is more coming soon. Not in the form of new blog posts, but in a new book, Bonjour40: A Paris travel log (40 years. 40 days. 40 seconds). Along with all the original blog entries, I've also included a dozen or so longer pieces highlighting some of the best experiences with regard to food, culture, the people, photography, writing and more. Together with photos, it will be released as an e-book on October 11th.

For all of you who are visiting this blog for the first time, (or for those who followed all 40 original days), I've left some excerpts in here to give you a feeling, a flavor, or a taste of what started everything for the new book.

I hope you'll come along on this journey with me, relive your favorite blog moments, and experience several new Paris adventures. What better way to say, "Bonjour 40!"
Visit my new author website, and find out all about it,
and sign up for details for the book release!

Epilogue ~ June 3

It’s hard to let go, isn’t it? Many of you who followed along have written to tell me you miss the daily blog and you miss Paris as if you were there... Now, we’ll always have Paris. {Longer excerpts and the original full blog entry are in the book, Bonjour 40}

In the original blog, I included a video of one of the amazing markets. Watch for Ted near the end.
